Ezine Articles, Online content publishing!

Our first Publisher site is EzineArticles. I’ve experimented with this Publisher site for over 2 months and I can proudly say it is one of the best ones around! Montly, I get over 750 visitors on these simple to set up articles! With a Click through rate of an astonishing 10% !!! thats 75 new visitors to my other sites every month without any hassle! I did spend some time to think about what I could write on, but it wasn’t to hard to figure out. And It worked like a charm! 4 hours of work now is what I put in. I wrote two articles and I can only recommend it for anyone who needs traffic! Generally it is a smart idea to write about related content or keywords and then place a little link to a related article or website of your’s. This will generate the quality traffic you need! Publisher sites generally attract better quality traffic. This caused by the fact that you do not get paid directly for publishing your content. It’s more the other way around! The site actually earns revenue on ads on the articles you write. But I rather have that extra CTR % and top notch quality visitors to my other articles and affiliate sites. In the end this will be the most profitable anyway!

Twitter, let people know what you do!

Heard about Twitter already? It’s a social networking site Where you are supposed to “tweet” or in other words broadcast quick messages of what you are doing! People can follow your actions, They then get updates on what you broadcast! Say you have a new website and you need to get it started, you can tweet the new website and I am sure at least a fraction of your followers will visit the site! The more followers you have the more advertising potential it offers! But it’s far more than a tool to advertise. I actually also like it to get updates from interesting people, like marketing specialists! So I can read the new tricks and tips the moment it appears.

When you do decide to try twitter be sure to also sign up on Wefollow it’s a directory designed solely for twitter profiles. You need to select three keywords that describe you, think of them carefully!

Hubpages content publishing and ad sharing!

Our second ad-sharing website is called Hubpages.com !
It is a nice site that allows you to create standalone articles very fast and easy. The interface to create such an article is very simple. drag and drop! nothing more too it. You need to add your adsense publisher ID. and you get 50% of the revenue generated by the ads on your articles! Hubpages.com ! does not have a referral system like Squidoo but the activity on Hubpages is high.And your hub will be visited without promoting it a lot! Just remember to pick a keyword rich title, a good link name and good tags!

Youtube, a great tool to advertise

I’m sure everyone knows and visits Youtube. I actually visit daily! I also upload video’s, solely for the click trough rates it generates for my websites! I have a couple of video’s my best one has 10 000 views at the moment. It brings the links in the description 15 visits a day! which is really great if you ask me. Suppose you have a video with over 1 000 000 views… such a page is just worth money! it is really.

So i need to make video’s? what about?
well try to think of something that fits in your range of keywords. suppose you have a site that is about affiliate marketing, you could make or let someone else make you a nice youtube promotion video for your website! or create a video that explains a trick or tip in affiliate marketing and put a link to your site near the description. Always pick a good title with rich keywords for your video and do the same for your description. Also properly tag your video. if you do all of this you will not need to promote your video after you created it, just sit back and see the views rise. Youtube is such a big community and your video will be viewed at least some times a day. the more it gets visited and rated the higher it will show up in rankings, automatically bringing your more visitors.

Mylot, a community with almost 200 000 members.

Heard about Mylot yet? it’s a big community where people post discussions in certain categories, ranging from “Making money online” to more specific categories like “Youtube”. The fun about it is more the people you meet then the traffic you can create with this source. but hey! It’s in the forums category 😉 Actually Mylot is not your standard forum. It’s not driven on any popular forum software like PHPbb or IBP.

I would not have joined mylot if it did not had a personal page to layout. But it has and you can even write HTML blocks on your profile page! Hope I will see you at mylot! Copy & pase is disabled on mylot to prevent you to create long posts quickly. Squidoo! Publish, advertise, earn and have fun.

Squidoo is a Ad-sharing site that allows you to create a stand alone article quickly and easy! Your goal is to create a lense that get’s into the TOP 100. Squidoo is a big community and it surely is worth the effort to create a decent article. You will create leads and you can advertise on your article page. The strength about Squidoo is it’s ease. It’s like blogging but you can add far more widgets and items on your page. The fact that you are supposed to create stand-alone articles is very interesting. This way you can target specific keywords and just put everything you know about it onto one SEO friendly page. Downside of Squidoo is getting your Lense visited in the first place.

Some tips to get your Squidoo page visited

• Join some Squidoo groups ! ( I will create a group soon )
• Post on their forum. Show them your lense!
• Pick a keyword rich title and keyword rich tags
• Create Quality content
• Find people  to rate,bookmark exchange or link to your lense.  (forums 😉
• Use any other Sites posted here to get visitors! (duh!)

Once you get some ratings and some comments traffic will continuously flow to your lense.

Using communties to advertise and promote

More and more people join open communities and forums. Look at Youtube! it’s more then just a video site. it’s a community worth millions and millions of dollars and those who got in fast now have super video’s with over 100 million views. imagine what traffic you can bring to your other sites using a link in the description page. There are more good communities that can bring tremendous traffic to your sites, and I will show you where you can find them, and how you can maximize conversion and visitors to these pages.

Before I can publish some communties you should check out it is important you know what types of communties excist and are interesting to join.

Video sites
I’m sure you understand that video sites like youtube are great to promote your sites and products.

Ad-sharing sites
These sites let you create online content quickly and share the advertising income of your page with you. the great thing about ad-sharing sites is that they are quickly set-up and that you create single pages, single articles! most ad-sharing sites optimize fully for SEO and can get you a lot of traffic. just make sure you always create quality content

Forums
Every forum is a great to promote yourself and find new contacts. altough less good for creating big streams of visitors, putting your site in your signature on a forum does get you visits.

Publisher sites
These sites allow you to create content very quickly, just an article, no widgets and addon’s. and free. Like [url=http://www.ezinearticles.com]EzineArticles[/url] do not be surprised of the many reads your article will get, without promoting it at all one of my articles got 1000 views. and 50 click outs just like that!

Blogging sites
Every blogging site is a communty too. My wordpress blog pages get traffic comming from wordpress.com searches. and it all works out very well. The key trick is to limit your blog to have only a couple of major keywords. Only then you will create a succesfull and good blog that drives traffic to your other sites

Social sites
not the best, but this will get you SOME traffic. facebook, myspace,  and other social networking sites is what I mean. This category also covers social bookmarking sites and similar sites.

That’s about it. this page will hold links and info about sites in the above categories. all of them will help you to promote and get more traffic to the pages you want while you also earn money on pages you made for promoting your actual page!
